The Capsule Way of Dressing.

Hello, there!

Ever looked at your wardrobe full of clothes and thought to yourself that you don't have anything to wear?

Tired of repeating the same, selected few all the time?

Don't worry, you're not alone...and guess what? you're at the right place!

A common mistake most of us make is that we create fixed outfits which trick us into believing that we have very limited options.

Team that checked shirt with your pair of khaki shorts instead of always wearing it with the same bottoms. Ditch those rugged denims for that flary skirt and wear your crop top with it. And pop the look with some accessories like those beaded necklaces (which could even be worn as bracelets, for a very bohemian look) or that Fedora hat that has found a comfortable spot on your closet shelf. Mix and match! It's a simple method of wardrobe called the capsule dressing. And it's not as difficult as you think. Really.

Accessories work wonders, actually. A friend of mine was running really late for a house party, one Saturday night and she realised, right before leaving her place, that she had worn the same dress to a birthday party a few days ago...which had the same crowd that she would be meeting at the house party. She didn't have time to ponder over what she could change into, so she grabbed a matching scarf, wore a nice pair of earrings and carried her Gucci handbag instead of the sling that she carried to the birthday party and voila! It was a different outfit altogether.

Remember, fashion has no rules. I'ts all about being comfortable in what you wear and carrying yourself confidently. And also being brave and adventurous enough to experiment. Who knows, you might even become the next trend setter!

So the next time you feel like you have nothing to wear...think again. ;)
